I certainly didn't expect the swan song of my favorite last gen system to be this sweet or this incredible. Setting itself apart from the other games, FFXII comes from already impressive JRPG stock, but breaks the mold in terms of JRPGs in general. It's almost as though they ran through a list of the complaints many gamers have had about FF games AND LISTENED. It's big. It's bold. It's sassy. And since it sold so freakin well, it's usually easy to come by. Final Fantasy XII

The latest addition to the Final Fantasy series is a worthy game indeed. It takes place in Ivalice, first made famous in the cult classic Final Fantasy Tactics.

The game has beautiful graphics, which are complimented by the completely re-vamped battle system, which is refreshing and extremely entertaining.

The world of Ivalice is beautifully rendered, and features a plethora of large areas to explore.

The story is very engaging, and the characters all have their own personal stories and demons to deal with. And, if story isn't enough for you, a fantastic set of side quests await you.

Overall, this is a worthy way to close out the PS2 era of Final Fantasy games, and i recommend you pick up a copy as soon as you can!Lire l'avis complet...

Final Fantasy XII (Collector's Edition)

Great game with a wonderful story which ensure to leave a memorable impression. The only dislike is that one of the character is a 17 year old male with very women like features whom dress like a circus performer, which I could only tolerate for the first part of the game. Final Fantasy XII Collector Edition

If you're a fan at all of the FF series, you need this game. One of the best stories in the series, great graphics and great story/gameplay. I recommend the collector edition for sure if you're a collector or planning on never parting ways with the game, which is a good idea. The tin case looks great and is a lot more durable then the usual plastic cases. Such an epic game!

FF XII is by far one of my all-time favorite FF titles. Everything from the graphics, to the new style of combat, the classes and even the story (although it seems a little off towards the end..) made this game a true blue hit in my book.FF XII will forever be my personal favorite (Yes, I even enjoy it more then FF VII and X). Used to have the original of this but I got rid of it and missed it sooooo bad...time to upgrade to the Collector's Edition =DLire l'avis complet...

FFXII is a disappointment.

Amazing graphic compared to all of the final fantasy series that came before this. The musics aren't as great however, none of them are as memorable. They have some of the classic musics in this game however they are only heard in some point of the game. For example, the classic winning battle music is only heard after you beat a boss/mini boss. The battle system was great for it's convenience but it's not something you'll want to do throughout the game. They did take away the random battle encounter which has it pros and cons. Pros are that you can't actually run through the maps and avoid battles you don't want and the cons are that the classic feel on the battle systems in the past are gone. This is not a touch a monster and enter a battle field but the whole map is a battle field. The main character is horrible, has nothing to do with the story. There's no romance which I don't really mind but it was just a classic war between the weak and strong. The license board is interesting, you can actually beat the game without leveling up due to the license board but the big no is that each character are pretty much the same because they all have the same license board. Overall this was just a average game but i'm very disappointed because this game was release as a Final Fantasy which made me expected a lot from it. I kept waiting for it to get better as the game progressed but it was pretty dull.Lire l'avis complet...
