I love it but can't use it. The PS2 I have doesn't have the connection I need to play the game. So, I'll just add it to my Final Fantasy collection.

FFXI is not a game to be played by the average player, since to really get somewhere in it plan your life ahead for 1 week of pure gameplay. Greatest Final Fantasy since FFVII

This was and has been the most addictive game I have ever played. It goes so deep beyond any stand-alone game you have ever played. I have played WoW and EverQuest and IMHO they dont even come close to MMORPG world of FFXI. Yes you have to pay a monthly fee, but this is not some kiddy game. This is for the upper teen to adult game you have been looking for. Very easy to loose yourself, job, spouse, and house. Its a solid game that's lasted through the years.

I bought this item because i had nostalgic feelings for my PS2. I currently play the game on PC. The only real complaint I have with the game is with Square-Enix. Their customer support is by far the worst I've ever experienced in my life. They literally do NOT care about their player base. Wow cool add on to the game, wish it was cheaper 2 play

I really love the games story lines and the game play of this game. I hate to say I only played this game for 2 months tops(hey it charges you per month to play). A Must for Collectors

I come accross many people who are not die-hard FF fans yet they claim to be. For some reason, though, these die-hards always complain about one of the games or the other. How Square-Enix isn't offing quality anymore. To those, I say, "Then please, DON'T BUY!" Save theses games for the rest of us, the real fans and collectors. FFXI Online

I think this game is the hugest rip off of all time. I mean people really think they are going to get $100 for a playstation 2 game. Hell no! Futher more you need to pay just for just playing the game. I don't see how this adds up? I think the game sounds cool and all but I know there are just as good of games out there for a million times cheaper. GTA IV goes online right? Thats a new playstation 3 game. Only like $15 to $28 brand new in some cases. How about the LITTLE BIG PLANET? That seems pretty popular right now doesn't it? I think the point is to hack the hell out of the games paying center to get by for free or crash and get your name cancelled. Not quite sure yet. It is to much trouble to even think about playing if your just now looking to buy now.
