Fight Night Round 3

Pros: Great Graphics and real time worked great in this title. You can really see the emotions of the fighters. More realistic than any boxing game. Great how you only have to use the cutman on 2 sides of the face and not 4 like you had to in previous fight nights.

Cons: Didnt use all of the PS3 potential. Poor Get in the Ring mode as it is very unrealistic. I played as Frazier and a featherweight knocked me out. Also very hard to learn how to play. Career very unrealistic.

Overall: Good graphics. But EA SPORTS has to really use the whole of the PS3 Potential!

Fun unique fighting game that everyone should check out

Fight Night Round 3 for Playstation 3 is an incredible game.
For those of you who haven't played any of the previous fight nights - this is very unique fighting series, in which players use the joysticks instead of buttons to fight. If you move the stick in a long complete motion - your boxer will throw a long heavy punch. Likewise, if you were to move the joystick in short quick motions - your boxer will throw quick and fast jabs. If you move the joystick in a hook towards the left, your player will hook with his left fist. There are many places and ways to hit your opponent - you will have to decide what fits your style best.
The unique playing style mentioned above brings a lot of fun to the game. Players can no longer button mash their way to victory. Instead, players have to use real boxing tactics and become experts with reaction and timing - such as learning to block, parry, or dodge punches to make openings for a counter punch. This game is incredibly fun, and has a lot of replay value.
The graphics for this game are incredible. Although the game is still a port over from other systems, and doesn't take full advantage of the ps3 - the game still looks incredibly realistic. Minor improvements in details, such as sweat (yes, your boxer will get tired during your fights) have been added from the xbox360 version. The details combined with the fluid realistic motions of the boxers makes the gameplay almost seem like a real live boxing match.
The only reason why I will wait before I give this game a full rating is that there are minor areas in game that could be improved (a little fine tuning if you will). Although the selection of boxers is large, I feel it could be larger. A few famous boxers like Mike Tyson are missing from the game - but it should be noted, that you are able to create your own boxers (with a LOT of customization - you can almost every single detail one can think of on the face of a boxer, including the positioning of the eyes, the shape of the eyes, nose and mouth, etc.). Online gameplay for the ps3 could be a little bit more reliable - there still seems to be users on dial-up lagging up some matches. And there should be more actions for the cutman of the boxer (at the moment, you are only able to fix cuts and swelling of the eyes).Lire l'avis complet...

I am a big boxing fan and this game made my day. I have been playing the playstation 4 for about 3 years and had to go back to my playstation 3 just to play fight night. I love this game from the graphics to the game play.Lire l'avis complet...

Listen Boxing Fans

Fight night round 3, like all games, have pros and cons. Like most of time, pros are always gonna appear early. Especialy those who love boxing, this is a great game to buy, you can learn a lot more to boxing and love the game more.One con i can state is that you cant sell youre item once bought to earn extra bucks for better equipment. Also,be prepared of getting bored.IT WILL COME TO YOU,especially when you do stuff over and over again..

Good but, not great.

The graphics are great, and so are the actions and re-actions. The things I don't like are: how slow it is to load in between every selected screen, and that there is and easy to repeat one punch daze to knockout punch {The (R) controlled Haymaker head shot.} This punch can be done to any opponent, no matter the size, weight, or power (Featherweight against top notch Heavyweight, knocked down the on the first punch of the fight, to be again knocked out again to end the fight. In boxing there is a one punch daze or knockout punch, just not every and any time you want. I hope Round 4 will change this part.Lire l'avis complet...

Best boxing game to date!!!!

This is the best boxing game for any console (to date). Unfortunately the "Fight Night" franchise no longer exists. I would have given this game the rating of excellent, because, of course, there is room for improvement.
Overall if you want the closest thing to a real boxing match, this is the game for you. Great controls and looks good too.Lire l'avis complet...

Very good boxing game

I had this game on XBOX and sold it a while back, kinda missed the game and bought it back for my PS3. Detail is top notch, and game play is descent as well. You create your fighter and train him for the fights. As the years and win/loses accumulate your player starts to lose some of his attributes. Make as much money as you can in this game, upgrade your equipment, and gain popularity throughout this game. Overall I would give this game an A on the A-F scale... What's with the controls?

First of all I loved the graphics, what I would want from a PS3.
But what ruins the game for me is the crazy controls. OK, just give me the simple button mashing controls. Some die hard fans probably love the controls, but for the average player, I don't think so. This is a rental.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Game

One thing I like is its a real looking fight like your in.The only thing I don't like is that every knock out you get they have spit comes out of thier mouth and it makes this horrible cracking like glass breaking noise thats it.Besides that its a great all around fun game.Lire l'avis complet...
