Tones at your fingertips
Love this and add it to all my strays and tele’s now. Great on all pickup positions but can really make the neck pickup sing on leads.

Fender Powerhouse stratocaster installation.
placed in the center position on my pick guard as the other tone knob controls the volume of the boost. the yellow and white wires go on the center upper tab (upper meaning closest to the knob post). the rest is the same as the directions i.e. black to ground and look at instructions for resistor and capacitor. Useless for single coils in the bridge. Really good for humbucker bridge. Useful in any guitars neck position. I really like these

Cheaply made, but works.
Although made cheaply, it does work. While pushing on the tone knob it separated the two sections of the pot so now it does not turn as smooth as it originally did and moves around. I just left it in place, since I had already put the pickguard back on. At least it does give some good tone variations on my Tele.Lire l'avis complet...

Much flexibility in tone.
Love these TBX controls. I put the first one on a Warmoth Telecaster with 4-position switch and Fender Lace Sensors I was building, and liked it so well I went back and retrofitted my old hot-rodded 1978 MusicMaster which has the original neck pickup and a DiMarzio Super II Humbucker in the bridge position. A few months ago, I completed a Warmoth Stratocaster build, with Fender Lace Sensors, a 5-position toggle switch, push-pull volume switch for extended pickup combinations, and TWO TBXs! The TBX sounds great with all of them. I'm currently building up an early 70s NOS Fender Coronado body with a Warmoth neck and GFS NYII pickups, and there will be two TBX tone controls on that one, as well.Lire l'avis complet...

Works and oem.
Works as good.. My suggestion for those that put it in a passive pickup guitar.. Don't put in the resistor. Just use a jumper.
