Took a great guitar and made it even better!

The Fender Player Series are great guitars. With the alnico 5 pickups I don't feel the need to upgrade the pickups like I have done in the past with my standard series Strat.

Player strat is a good deal for under $700

Very surprised at how nicely this player strat stacks up to the American strat particularly with the close to the quack sound of an american strat that a mim does not achieve. The components and the feel of the guitar are closer to the American than the mim. Needed to be setup and fret ends needed a little filing, but otherwise well built.
Better than decent pickups.
