Excellent sounding Fender pickups

Certainly there are several genuine Fender Telecaster pickups to choose from, not to mention all the other brands. I don't know how any of the others sound (except for the Noiseless G4 in my other Tele). Even though these are more expensive than some, I chose these and I installed them in the new Telecaster I built. I think it is just like the maxim, "You get what you pay for" and I am not disappointed! They sound great, with a seamless transition between bridge and neck PU. I used a 3 position switch, the preferred CTS 250k pots and the Orange Drop .022 capacitor. I was concerned about 60 cycle hum with the single coils, but I coated the pickup and control cavities with 3 coats of shielding paint. I would definitely do that again, as it must be helpful because there is virtually no noise in any switch position. I am loving the sounds of this guitar!Lire l'avis complet...
