Fear and Loathing with Terry Gillam and Johnny Depp

Once upon a decade, Hunter Thompson wrote a book called Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, a story about two travelers going on a drive to cover a motorcycle race while having a suitcase of drugs in the trunk. 27 years after its publication, the movie adaptation was released. And boy was it an underrated doozy at the time of its release! Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro as Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo. Cameos from (but not limited to) Cameron Diaz, Christina Ricci, Ellen Barkin, Gary Busey, Harry Dean Stanton, Mark Harmon, and Tobey Maguire abounding when you least expect them to. A script in kinship with the original story. The trippy visuals. The characters Raoul and Dr. Gonzo meet on the journey. Hell, Terry Gilliam of Monty Python directed this film. scarce objects on E-bay

I purchased the movie FEAR @ LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS so time back off E-bay, Excellent movie, but hard to find elsewhere. Love the movie but accidentally bought VHS. I would rather have the DVD for longevity. I am afraid that as much as I play it I'm going to wear it out. I had been a member of both BMG and Columbia House DVD Clubs and could not find this classic Johnny Dep movie at either place, so when I saw it on E-Bay I had to order it. To weird to live , to rare to die.

I love this movie!! It takes you along on quite a trip... in two different senses!! One of Johnny Depps best performances by far!!!I haven't laughed this hard at many movies.

This is a great story from a great american journalist. This is written in the Gonzo Style of Journalism. Pure drug glorification at its finest.

LOVE THIS MOVIE

I have seen it so many times. It is great. I don't know why I like it so much. It's just so funny, and whacky. Johnny Depp's character is hilarious, and there's so many other actors in it too. I love Las Vegas movies, makes me want to go there even more.
