Fantasia 2000

I don't have a rating yet, hence I have not received the DVD. Hopefully I will get it by this week to give a real rating. I picked this movie, because I collect Disney animated movies. Plus, I have the first one and I needed the sequel.
I love Disney stories and the lessons learned at the end of the movies. I have all the disney animations except for maybe two. This movie will be a great piece to my collection; for one day I can sit down and share the joy and warmth I get from watching these movies with my future children.Lire l'avis complet...

Poor quality

The disc was damaged and stopped about 5 minutes in. Waste of money and a very disappointing birthday surprise for my boyfriend.

Fantasia 2000 holds its own with the original movie

I've been wanting to buy Fantasia 2000 - which I've never seen before - along with the original Fantasia since I purchased my DVD player in 2003. I missed Disney's original window to buy it before it "went back in the vault" and I couldn't find good deals on either movie through Amazon.com so I discovered that I could buy both movies through the eBay site that puts me in touch with people selling new and used copies. And I just didn't want to wait until Walt Disney Home Video makes it available again. They did do a nice job on Fantasia 2000, especially with the "Rhapsody in Blue" segment.Lire l'avis complet...

Disney's Fantasia on DVD will make you feel so young, you will make yourself a sandwich at the same time!

Awesome must have movie on dvd. Very Entertaining. Disney's Best of Musicals! If you want to feel 20 to 30 years younger, trust this movie to do so.

Leaves the original Fantasia in the dust

I love this! The music, the animation, the humor, the joy! Watching this makes me feel good. I hate the original Fantasia (dark, sexist, racist, etc.), but they nailed it with this one.

About An Hour Of Disappointment

It has bits and pieces of old and new & it gives an impression of watching old deleted scenes.

Fantastic Fantasia...Superb...Outstanding. 5-stars!

This title is sheer "eye candy" for the viewer! Superbly produced by Walt's nephew Roy Edward Disney, it is top professionalism all the way. Nice to see the Disney "animation Department" stimulated again with projects like this one!
The adapted score of the masterworks by James Levine is first class...nicely tailored from the original Stowkowski 1940 edition...but in today's THX dolby fidelity. For today's "digital" home theatre this is a perfect "test" for optimal picture and audio. Consider this one a "must see" for your video repertoire! MPSLire l'avis complet...

Musical Delight

My kids and I love this movie, from the orcas to the flamingos to Donald Duck. Love it.

great buy

I really liked the idea of cartoon combined with classical music,I tought it will be very interesting and..... DVD met all of my expectations. My 3 year old loves it as well as my 3 month old!!
My husband and I are also under the magic of this wonderful feature. We love it!
I would absolutely recomend it to anybody,and not only to peple with kids, there is something magical about it.....
