''Never judge a book by its cover'' is a common saying yet this book is an exception as this cover is a super glossy, golden, swirl embossed photo of Kimora Lee Simmons wearing a flowing, leopard print outfit.The book reads like a well organized course in Fabulosity broken down into several areas.Fabulosity is ''a state of everything that is fabulous. - a quality ascribed to that which expresses glamour,style,charisma,power,and heart.'' according to Kimora Lee Simmons.She uses a hip,urban tone and numerous examples of how she overcame obstacles due to her height and features to become a top European model while very young.Each chapter even includes ''homework''! I enjoyed the glossy pictures in the center especially those of her as a ''baby phat''! This book is Fabulous if you are trying to get into fashion or modeling.Others may find her advice too detailed to follow such as taking pictures of your shoes to display on box fronts.Her main point is to care for yourself and to follow your goals.Sadly,this hip manual for empowering yourself is now a bit dated as Kimora Lee Simmons recently divorced Russell Simmons but I'm sure that she took her own advice and is taking care of her''inner goddess and outer diva''with Total Fabulosity!Lire l'avis complet...
Fabulosity by Kimora Lee Simmons
I bought the book "Fabulosity" by Kimora Lee Simmons as a Christmas gift for one of my daughters. It is the perfect book for a young woman (or any age, really) looking to persue a professional career. Although the book mainly focuses on fashion design career, the realistic and useful tips and suggestions for workplace and private life behavior and ethics are practical for anyone. It is written in a straight forward no nonsense direction. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to improve one's everyday life management. The pictures are superior quality and fit perfectly with the text. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner.Lire l'avis complet...

I decided to buy the book because I love Kimora and her style. The book was okay but it wasn't what I thought it would be. If ur in to reading about nothing then this book will be okay. Don't get me wrong on the book, it had its moments where you wanted to read but it just wasn't reality to me. I think it should of had a different concept. They way she describes getting fabolousity isn't how an average person would come across it. I wouldn't read it again and I probably wouldn't recommend it either.Lire l'avis complet...
