If you want a plug and play microphone, this is the one to get. No set up. Plugs into a Mac or PC and works right away.
Nice volume control feature for greater pickup.

Sounds great. Works with Linux.
Purchased this not being sure it would work with Linux. Was pleasantly surprised when it did. Tested fine on Feren OS, Lubuntu, and Mint. Just plug it in and go. All were 18.04 or newer.
Use it primarily with Audacity. The current version in Store (2.2.1) resulted in a lot of popping in recordings. Had to download latest AppImage to remedy that. Know that you must switch the input device upon first use. I was used to it automatically doing that, but this is my first USB mic, so maybe that's not the case with these.
The recording quality is excellent. Without loud background noises, the resting waveform is perfectly flat. I did some recording with an open window next to me. It can pick up some loud cars and insect/wildlife noise (those can get loud where I'm at). But in my opinion, under normal circumstance, vocal recordings don't even require post processing. Other than removing a loud breath or cat jumping on your desk, etc.
The mic holder has a standard 5/8 inch fine thread. This was handy for attaching to my boom stand so I don't have to be right up to my desk. The mic's 6 foot cord allows some leeway there. Even tried it with 10 foot extension cord and worked flawlessly.
Wasn't sure if this would require a dedicated USB port to power it. Tried it on an un-powered 4 port hub and it worked on that.
Overall, I don't think you can beat this mic for the price. Lire l'avis complet...

Great mic at a great price, my voice sounds really clear and with a good pop filter, it sounds even better! No issues, and very hard to damage. (I've dropped it 3 times already..)

This microphone instantly connects and is crystal clear. is is very sensitive and picks up background noise if it is turned up to high. I would definitely recommend this mike to anyone!
