Working great in three Nakamichi CM300s
These Exell Alkaline Battery A221/505As work fine in my Nakamichi CM300 microphones and replace the original long-discontinued batteries without modifications. At 22.5 volts they are more powerful than the originals but a bit of research indicates this is not an issue for Nak users. The only other recommendation I've seen is to take them out of the mics when not in use for longer battery life. Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent replacement for obsolete Eveready 206 battery
This is a round 9v battery used in vintage 1950s and 1960s pocket radios. In fact I bought it for a 1960s magnavox radio. It works perfectly and was shipped quickly!! Only downside is it is a little pricey at about $26, but it allows a vintage radio to work as it should without converting it to modern 9v battery It seems like it will last a long time. Round peg for a square hole
When it comes to replacing an obsolete battery in a vintage device, you pretty much have to take what you can get. Fortunately in this case, what I got was pretty good. The battery measured 16 volts on the analog multimeter (Micronta 22-205) in which I installed it (a function that does not require an internal battery) and it fit in the battery slot just fine, despite being a different shape and size. The original Mallory 504 battery was square and a slight bit longer than this replacement, which is cylindrical and a hair shorter. Despite these differences, it seems to fit snugly. If it slips over time, I can always either tape or wedge it into place. The bottom line is the meter is now fully functional on all its ranges. I only just finished installing this alkaline battery so time will tell regarding its longevity but I do believe the manufacturer's claim of a longer life than the original carbon zinc battery is likely valid.Lire l'avis complet...

Not quite right
The battery is not quite the same size as the original Eveready battery that was installed in the electronic device even though it has the same model # and power designation as the Eveready battery. I had to carefully bend the battery bracket ends on the device to make it work and it wasn't easy. I am just glad I was able to accomplish this without damaging the device. Even though I made it work I don't think I can transport the device due to the compromised fit of the battery. The device is probably going to be OK if it stays in my studio secured in a rack cabinet that doesn't move but if I put the device in a mobile rack and started to travel with it loading the rack and unloading I don't think the battery will stay in place and if it doesn't then all the memory for the device will be lost. Hard to find item!
It is hard to locate and spend a reasonable amount for a 1.35 camera battery these days, mostly since the original batteries were all mercury. I plugged 2 of these into a venerable Canon EF camera and they worked perfectly and there has been no drain since. Great to have!Lire l'avis complet...

It works well
I installed this into a vintage Pentax clip on cds meter from 1968. For some reason the battery seemed to be too thin for this application as the battery was unable to make complete contact. I simply used two thin washers as shims and it works perfectly. It great to be able to bring these vintage equipment back on line. This would not be possible without this battery. good quality imposible to find before
Never thought 67 1/2 volt batterys were made any more. Works great in my small portable tube radio. Battery is good quality but can be more expensive than the value of the radio but it's cool to have the radio working well.Lire l'avis complet...

Worthy replacement?
This is a very good quality battery. Possibly at least as good as the more conventional batteries which it replaced. Only time will tell if these are the same reliability etc. There is little choice in today's market in any case. So far so good.Lire l'avis complet...

Replacement for discontinued battery
This is a perfect replacement for the original battery that was in my very old multimeter. The original battery was discontinued. This is an excellent replacement.

Good battery so far.
Unlike a lot of things a battery either works or it doesn't - this one works great. The only other question is how long will it last - the old one worked for 10+ years so I hope it will be awhile before I can opine on that aspect of the battery. Lire l'avis complet...
