It's a lovely film with a lot of heart. And educational about how an Irish law that adversely affected many families -- was changed to benefit all.

The DVD is in like-new shape and was a pleasure to watch.
The story is based on true events, and this movie was well cast and well acted. Nice to see Pierce Brosnan play a more "everyman" type of character than his 007 celebrity character. Lire l'avis complet...

Evelyn ... a Great Family Movie.

I wanted a good Family Movie and Evelyn was just so enchanting...and was based on a true story from Ireland. The characters are so believable ..draws your attention right into the movie from the get go. We really enjoyed watching it...in fact we watched it twice it was that good. Had a movie night at home. What a lovely story and the little girl Evelyn is truly an amazing little actress. You climb right into this story and live it with the actors. Loved Pierce Brosnan in this type of roll - down and out Father that makes good on his responsibilities. Always love redemption stories. This one is especially touching because it is based on a true story. Sometimes in life everything just comes together and you get a miracle.
