Reliving the Holocaust
There is not a book on Holocaust history that so readily personalizes the persecution of the Jews and the horror of the death camps (i.e., Auschwitz) more so than this book. I read it in 1986 and have reread it several times since. A reader can never go numb no matter how many times this story is retold by the able narrator, Rudolph Vrba, a victim and survivor of the largest death camp the Nazis dedicated to genocide on an industrial scale.Lire l'avis complet...
