Brilliant Tradition...Elf on the Shelf

Such a wonderful item. I have listened to my friend talk about her little boy's adventures with their elf, Johnny and I decided that we needed to start our own tradition with Elf on the Shelf. My son, who will turn three in April, will meet Charley for the first time next Christmas. I didn't choose the name, he did. I asked him what he wanted to call him if one of the elves came to visit and at first he didn't know and actually suggested HoHo which would be fine, but that is what he calls Santa. A little while later, he said "Sorry Charlie" and so, loving the name Charlie, I asked him if that was what he wanted to name his elf and he did. I asked him if he wanted to spell it Char"lie" or Char"ley" and he said l-e-y. So for anyone that has a young child who loves Christmas as much as my little boy, I suggest they start this tradition. It will be so much fun for your child and for you too. The delight on their faces as they search for the spot your elf decided to settle in after reporting to Santa will bring back the warm fuzzy feeling that most adults have lost. Elf on the shelf family

This is still a wonderful movie for young children especially at Christmas time! My 8 yr old loves the movie and still plays with his elf all year long!

My daughter absolutely loves this movie. She watches it over and over. She's 4 and got her elf this year, the movie is a great accompaniment to the book.
