The correct adapter for older Electro Harmonix effect pedals.

If your using one of those 3.5 mm adapters, and 9 volt daisy chain, you need one of these. I personally think you should toss the daisy chain in the trash, it's not the way to go. Older Electro Harmonix, DOD, MXR, and a few other companies pedals run better with the slightly higher 9.6 volt output. Even if you have one of those power bricks, if it doesn't have 9.6, or 10 volt output, you may still want this. Providing your pedals with the correct output voltage, from an isolated source (adapter or power supply brick), will always give the best results. You should have noticeably less line noise by following these rules as well. On the adapter itself, I've owned a few of these over the years, and they're one of the more durable ones out there.
