Really enjoyed the film.

Great for family viewing, clean show. Acting and storyline believable, and interesting. We have this kind of cold in the winter. It is conceivable that the dogs could survive, (around here) on jackrabbits, if they could slip their collars. (Well-fed dogs with that thick fur could probably do that, too, after several days of fasting.) I don't know anything about seals and killer whales, but the dogs could also learn to work together to catch food. Coyotes and wolves do that all the time. As far as the humans in the film, the acting is terrific, as is the all-out effort to save the researcher's life. It's refreshing that they used an intelligent lady pilot character, in a movie otherwise packed with men. (Good guys, but packed with them just the same.) The lead dog was a smart girl, too. This was a wonderful movie.. I laughed I cried.. I was on the edge of my seat. And I loved it .. I also have another question for you.. I watched another Dog Sled movie on my friends tv.. Called TOGO. I can locate the book on line also a postor. But can't find. The Movie.. Today Jan 28th I just bought a movie relating to TOGO called The Great Alaskan Race.. But it is still not the same TOGO Movie.. When will that movie be out on DVD... Thank you..Lire l'avis complet...

With out judging you. Beat them, cuz you're having a bad day.....call them back, 5 minutes later. You are smothered with kisses. This movie is based in a real story.

Improper shipping

One was perfect. Other was a mess. Ik it was ppl who work as shippers who done it. Case was broke and disc was scratched to a point that it could not be read. Ppl get bored and use our merchandyse as a game e.g. shooting hoops. I don't blame u. This is a great movie and one we enjoyed watching together as a family. My son requested this for his 6th birthday and he fell in love with the dogs. This movie is based on a true story and shows how animals work together and support each other just how people do in real life. This is a Walt Disney movie about 8 sled dogs and their guide. The dogs are stranded in Antarctica during a terrible winter storm, and the learn to survive as a team until their owner is able to rescue them. This is a good movie and both a happy and a sad one for the animal lover. I recommend this movie to people of all ages.Lire l'avis complet...

EIGHT BELOW TEAR JERKER

OK SO THIS IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE AND ARE A DOG LOVER, GET THE BIGGEST BOX OF KLEENEX YOU CAN FIND. IT IS ONE OF THE SADDEST MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN. LEAVE IT TO DISNEY TO KILL OFF ANIMALS WHETHER THEY ARE REAL OR A CARTOON! CRIED THROUGH MOST OF THIS MOVIE NONSTOP AS SOON AS THE PLANE TOOK OFF AND LEFT ALL OF THE DOGS BEHIND TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES. YES TWO DIE AND NOT PLEASANT DEATHS EITHER. I RENTED THIS AND AFTER THE WATERFALL OF TEARS, I COULD NEVER WATCH IT AGAIN. I DID NOT LIKE IT. THE ONLY SAVING GRACE IS THAT FINALLY AFTER MONTHS OF BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES AND NO FOOD TO SPEAK OF, SOME OF THE DOGS ARE RESCUED BUT IT DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR THE TWO THAT DIED HORRIBLE DEATHS! I WOULD NEVER RENT IT AGAIN NOR WOULD I BUY IT EITHER. IT IS NOT AN ENJOYABLE KIDS MOVIE EITHER. MIGHT TEACH THEM TO LEAVE THEIR ANIMALS BEHIND AND THINK OF THEMSELVES BEFORE THEIR PETS. Eight Below is the most wonderful animal movie that captures the unconditional love between the owner and the dogs and the unbreakable loyal bond between the pack. During the dogs' survival journey, the audiences are able to see the unique characterisitcs of siberian huskies and Malmuate that they are high intelligent and sentimental. They are very much like human. They are bounded by emotions. They experience the joy of exploring, the pain of loss and the hardship of suvival. Just like people in a society, there are leader and follower in their pack. Each dogs has their role in the pack. Heartfelt movie. If you love dogs, you will really really enjoy this movie. Jerry is devoted to his dogs as Dr. Davis McClaren is devoted to make this exhibition to Melbourne Antartica. They are faced with the worst winter / storms ever! I don't want to give the story away but you know how children enjoy drawing pictures and parents proudly displaying them...
