Durable, Efficient, Quiet.....

Reliability, quiet operation, flow rate, energy consumption are all reasons to buy this pump. I am replacing an Eheim 1060 that has provided continuous service for 25years. I would have replaced the impeller parts on the 1060 but for about $20 more I got the newer version that pumps more water & consumes about 10W more. I cleaned the pre-filter with each water change (once a month), but only cleaned the impeller a few times in 25yrs. The impeller may have lasted longer if I had been better with cleaning the entire pump. Impeller magnet had blistered and gotten noisy.......what do you want after 25yrs.
