I'm replacing the "lifetime" coated deck screws (NOT stainless steel) that were used on my wrap-around lanai. They only lasted 9 years before they rusted to oblivion. I started the project with a 5-pound box of similar stainless steel deck screws from Home Depot. Then I saw these on eBay and ordered them. They are equivalent to the HD screws in specs but cost considerably less and should be enough to finish the (big) job. They shipped in five 350-screw plastic containers which is actually more convenient than one single big 1750-screw container (each has a T25 bit). I live in Hawaii which is a corrosive environment due to proximity to the ocean and salt air.
