The Barbed fittings are better!
Haven't really got to Hot Rod my vw yet but with these barbed fittings, the hoses seem to be staying on unlike the smooth ones that came with the kit. The original fittings are smooth and when you hit the gas pedal the hoses slide/blow off regardless of how tight the clamps are.
The Empi oil breather kit should come with barbed fittings, not sure why they don't unless they want you to spend more money? Lire l'avis complet...

These are gonna work great for venting the liwer crank case. They look good and were an easy installation.
