A KEEPER for sure!

The inverter seems good. I did not use the provided wire since it was not adequate to handle a serious load (too thin). I did not use for the remote (all it indicates is low or full battery). Since this unit was at Amazon, I could read the reviews and compare it to other units. The different models all get good ratings. I bought it from eBay so I could add the Square Trade warranty. The inverter performs as it should though I had trouble with it shutting off with over voltage at 14.1 volts but it does not do that after adjusting the solar charger (thanks to sellers advice). The under voltage also works well. It did shut down after drawing the battery down to 10.5 volts then restart when the voltage came back up. I have not put it though a full range of tests but from what I have seen so far it is better than the ProWatt that this replaced. Lire l'avis complet...

Stable voltage output

Works great for off grid out building. Mainly used for lighting. Will also run air compressor and miter saw.

FAKE PURE SINE WAVE FAKE, PURE FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The off on remote button is junk. It only turns off the remote display. I've been testing this item and found so far that the items stated on its spec sheet it fails to operate. It does work with the size microwave stated in the and causes errors on the digital keypad. I've taken a reading on its AC output and have found while not under load with a true RMS meter it will see a proper voltage reading. However, while underload with even a simple 120-volt relay coil rated at 57 milli amps draw the sine wave cycles become unstable which becomes obvious on a true RMS meter. So, I placed it on a scope to further evaluate its output. What I have found is this is a FAKE. It's a high frequency modified sign wave inverter. This inverter interferes with all my sensitive electronics. Lire l'avis complet...

impressed

I was impressed with this inverter , the back lighting is good , the cooling fans kicked in and out as they should , I was scared being the first to write a review and not to many on the market right now, Didn't really pay to much attention as to how many has been sold . only one small thing about set up, the neg. lug on the back was a hair bigger than the other , checked it twice , and yes it was , just took a 32 nd. bigger drill bitt and drilled out the lug , worked great . I liked the hard wire part of it also , plus the two 110 volt plug in's .Fans are just a little , I wont say loud , but louder that I expected , but that's ok , it's a big inverter ! I set mine up in the rear of my travel trailer with 4 105 amp. hour battery's , with a 50 amp. controller from Missouri wind & solar and 3 100 watt panels made for moving around . turned on my over head air and a few acc. for about 5Hr's and let it burn. did great , I don't think I'd be scared to buy it again, THANKSLire l'avis complet...

Tool Power

Product provides plenty of power to run my electric hand tools. I won't push this to the limit (3500 Watts). None of my tools are rated for more than 1500 Watts. I don't have a scope, but the power is clean enough to drive my variable speed tools flawlessly. AC Voltage verified to be very stable using my DVM which read the same as the readout on the front panel. DC input voltage also matched the displayed value. Lire l'avis complet...

Impressed.

Bought this to replace my 5000 watt modified sine wave inverter due to poor tv quality and humming from dvd player. This took care of all my issues. Also capable of running my big air compressor. I believe this to be an excellent value.
Be sure to connect to battery bank with larger cable, I used 2/0 three feet long,my 5000 watt requires two 2/0 per terminal no longer than 3 feet. You can not get maximum output with cables supplied.
Be plus is the fans do not run unless needed which hasn't happened yet.
I believe this is the best pure sine wave inverter available for the money.

Great inverter

I took a chance with this inverter, based on reviews. It was well worth it. I got it for an install for a neighbor (he actually made the purchase). I had previously wired the off grid solar room for the last owner expecting an upgrade from the 1000w Xantrex modified wave dinosaur they had, installing 3/0 battery to inverter cable in place to handle possible 120v load with a small 12 system at a vacation cabin. It's easy math. They are friends, so it had to be done correctly. They sold the cabin, and the new owner wanted the upgrade. Glad all wiring was in place, so the shiny new EDECOA unit was a strait plug and play item. It powers the new 1HP water pump and unnecessary electric water heater (still trying to convince him to switch to propane on demand...), plus a few electrical additions his wife wanted. The inverter has handled everything perfectly. I use an expensive Outback sine wave inverter for our own off grid house, but will be purchasing one of these great EDECOA pure sine wave units for my shop. It works great.Lire l'avis complet...

Great power supply

It handles power surges very well. It has very good voltage regulation I like the volt and amp meter on it, it is also very efficiant . It starts my 12000 btu ac without any struggle where my other one always had a struggle starting it. the only thing I don't like about it is it cant run much above 14 volts, and I need to charge my batteries at 15 volts so I will have to turn of the inverter while the solar panels are charging.Lire l'avis complet...

So far so good

I have used this inverter, full time, for 1 year now with no problems. I have 15 100AH batteries and 8 solar panels in the system. I have a fridge and freezer on full time, with other units added at times. I did add a EMI 30A filter to the output power cord. If the microwave is plugged in without the filter, it sometimes sends spurious signals back to the inverter. These signals (amplified by the inverter) cause the microwave to labor and run slower. This will eventually destroy the inverter. Inverters and microwaves don't get along well, on a closed system.Lire l'avis complet...

Working good...

Just got this power inverter a few days ago and installed it. The install wasn’t very difficult. I had zero gauge wires made and also put in a 250 inline amp fuse on the power wire. Seems to be working good. I like the remote, makes it easy accessible to turn on and off.Lire l'avis complet...
