Excellent crimper

This is a heavy duty crimper for cable terminals. As others have mentioned, the big advantage is that it is portable and can be used away from a workbench in fairly tight quarters.

The anvil can bind up against the body. A thin layer of grease on the sliding surfaces and the threads make it work much smoother.

My only complaint is that the top of the threaded rod has snap rings on it that spin easily. It would help to have a knurled section to quickly turn the threaded rod to capture the terminal and back off the anvil after crimping. Lire l'avis complet...
