Do not purchase a generic Dyson Vacuum Battery for Dyson Animal Stick Vacuums. Purchase only Dyson Brand.
The battery was advertised as a Genuine Dyson Battery. It was not a brand name (Dyson) battery. It was an off brand. It worked off/on and never held a charge to run very long.

Works great, holds charge
This is very easy to replace. My advice would be to take it apart before you order and make sure that the battery that you’re buying physically matches the one that’s already in your vacuum.

I bought this replacement battery for my Dyson sv10 stick vacuum. My original battery was 2300 mAh and this new one is definitely more power capacity and duration. The battery capacity is not what they claim. It might be about the same as the original but it is a lot cheaper. A little more than 1/2 price.

Battery Does Not Work Properly.
Battery does not deliver a continuous supply of electric to the vacuum, charged battery until green light was on. Started the vacuum and it rain for 5 seconds then cut out, ran again for 4 to 5 seconds then stopped, “pulsing” on and off if the switch is held on. Do not recommend battery at all. Love my Dyson vac & battery replacement excellent!
My Dyson Animal stick vac battery lasted almost 5 years before dying. OEM battery expensive but I love my Dyson and worth buying another.
