I was finally able to take all my cds and dvds out of envelopes and put them into cases. The plastic is more flexible than the bigger styrene cases whose hinges always seem to crack and fall off. The spine is a little thin for showing cd titles, but the front/top of the case is clear and easy to read titles through. Latches securely.
