Really powerfull and full of features, incredibly small in size.

good receiver, fast operation. You can flash diferent firmwares on it. The dreambox 500 handles just like a normal receiver but this also has a web interface so you can control it, and has support for streaming thru(mpg2 video, mpga audio) thru its ethernet(100mb/s full duplex) interface at an average bitrate of 4mb/s which can not be reduced. The channel list is basically limitless and can be organized by a PC software. The box has a debian linux distro, so it handles the most basic commands. it also has a telnet and ftp server out of the box. The device supports multiple sats and has capabilities of mounting windows folder shares by CIFS or a SAMBA client. The device has a remote control that you can tweak just about anything. The device only has a composite(Red, White, Yellow) for video output, and a SCART port that is really common in EU TV sets. but not in America, so they sell a device that connects to that SCART port and converts the signal to component(Red, Green, Blue). Dreambox 500HD

Very well built with good video & audio. Unfortunately it does not have provision for adding internal SATA hard. Also, I was disappointed this unit does not have a USB port for external devices although the box has specific room for adding USB but left unused.Lire l'avis complet...

Excelente Receptor en Pequeño tamaño

Este equipo lo compré principalmente porque al leer en otros sitios mencionaban las bondades que presentaba a la hora de poder personalizarlo, es así que decidí adquirirlo y al usarlo pude demostrarlo. Al configurar los satélites no tuve ningún inconveniente aunque me gustaría que tuviera una señal sonora y no solamente visual al indicarme la potencia del Transporter.
Con Respecto al control remoto si noté que el mismo tiene un alcance miope aunque lo interpreto más bien como MIOPE pues en algunas posiciones o distancias no cambiaba el canal pero nada de que preocuparme. Disfrútenlo.Lire l'avis complet...

DM 500S Receiver

O receptor superou as minhas espectativas, facil de configurar e manusear, tem varias ferramentas que possibilita a assistir tv no pc atravé da rede domestica.
Aqui estão algumas coisas que eu quero incluir em minha opinião sobre este produto:
- Por que você comprou: para as necessidades do dia-dia
- O que você mais gosta sobre ele: Muito flexivel grava no HD do pc é um exemplo.
- O que você não gosta sobre ele: parece ser clone por isso não posso usar toas as imagens

Damaged and not complete package

I expected to receive 2 boxes, instead of it I received six boxes of disassembled electronics. 1 cover plate is missing, all other cover plates are damaged.

Very good receiver for that money

My friend have this receiver and when I saw what he can watch, I decided immediately to bought one. As the first, the price of this receiver is very good. Maybe the memory is not enough but for this money I can not expect something better.Lire l'avis complet...

Excelent Tv-Sat receiver

Amazing tv-satelite receiver...cheap has we all like and works 100% has we all want. Original or clone, I don't know, but has all capabilites that they publicity.
