A Disappointing New Era
Very disappointed, the characters, plot and dialog seemed stale. As if actors were walking through their roles. Downton Abby was the best series ever to grace TV, but this film was far below its standards. It seemed that plots , lines and situations were just re used, not real thought went into this finale, if it is the finale.Lire l'avis complet...

Enjoyable no matter what the critics say
Forget how the critics panned this movie. If you're a fan of Downton and its characters and can stomach the whiteness of it (we're talking about English aristocracy after all), the scenery and camera work is every bit as beautiful as it ever was. The storylines button up a lot of lovely little through-lines among our favorite characters and it's always fun to see these actors reunite to create more adventure. Lire l'avis complet...

Great title, for an ending to a great series
Big Downton Abbey fan! So happy to see a sequel of this series! Well written to the point engaging characters! Can’t ask for a beautiful depiction of an era from the past!
