I purchased The Dalek Invasion of Earth to add to my Doctor Who DVD/Video collection. If black and white early 60's science fiction is not your bag, then you will not be interested in this DVD. The story was an elaborate undertaking for its time; considering that the BBC gave Doctor Who a modest budget to work with. Only the truly dedicated Doctor Who fan can watch all six episodes at one shot. The DVD has actor commentary, some rehearsal film shot by actress Carole Ann Ford, production notes, and a photo gallery. The unique item on this DVD is a CGI Effects Options. This was added to improve the look of the Dalek's space ships that invaded the Earth. The CGI ships are way better looking than the crude models that were dangled from fishing line. Overall, The Dalek Invasion of Earth is an excellent example of why Doctor Who became a popular world wide phenomena and still has legions of fans till this day.Lire l'avis complet...

The First Doctor and His First Enemies in Their B&W Finest!

Thoroughly enjoyable. It gave me more of what I wanted to see: the original crew with the cantankerous Doctor! I also got to see more of him with his granddaughter. Doctor Who, Part of the William Hartnell Collection.

I am personally a Whovian. sure there are Star Wars fans, and Star Trek fans, but I have always found Doctor Who to be the greatest of them all, especially with over 15 years of episodes to watch. here is a time Lord with the power to do anything he wants, and he goes around the galaxy saving the universe, and his pet people us earthlings as well. of course the quality of action is not what you expect in today's movies, but overall these are some great classics and I suggest you add them to your archive today, and help the tradition continue.Lire l'avis complet...

I checked out this Doctor Who video at the public library back in 2015. During this time, I did not understand The Invasion of The Dales until now, due to biblical prophecies. Thank you.

It arrived exactly as described and had two complete unscratched disks inside. My collector will be so happy to see this under the Christmas Tree.
