PC Card Adapter and SD Card

I was looking for a PC card Adapter that would work in my 2009 Honda CRV together with a media card that I could store my music. This turned out to fantastic .... I simply transferred the music from my Laptop on to the SD Card, loaded into my drive slot on the car and pressed play ! If I were doing it again, I would probably opt for a smaller SD card - say 4Gb. I have over 800 songs stored so far and am only using 2.4Gb. I am led to believe that my player has a limit of 999 songs but haven;t verified that yet.

Great for older laptops

Average.

It’s pretty picky on what cards it allows. But once you find the right brand & model it works fairly average for an older piece of hardware.

Does exactly what I needed in my Honda CR-V, I’d like to to a lower price since it’s a little old school tech now. It does the job fine with no delay in my stereo.

Slow

It’s a 16-bit pcmcia card so it’s limited to 1MB/s and takes days to transfer from larger cards, and won’t work on 64-bit windows.
