Great, fun reference work.
The work is truly encyclopedic in scope. Propowicz synthesizes, assesses and summarizes, in a well-divided, Q&A format, the latest scholarship on Lincoln issues and shows how, when you blend all that we (factually) know, it shows Lincoln was a true pragmatist, belonging to no political idealogue's camp. Thanks to the book's division of the subjects, it can almost be read as though it were a life sketch.
There is also a section on fun subjects, like supposed new Lincoln photos, the author's choice of best Lincoln impersonator, movies, etc. Generously illustrated with good, relevant photos. A ****!/2 book.Lire l'avis complet...
