It's a treasure hunt for diamonds, and it is a fun trip.

Some people think Kirk Douglas shouldn't have made this movie due to his age and the aftereffects of a stroke. I think it was a perfect fit. All the actors are very good, and the story is interesting. It's a three-generation family trip for Grandpa, who wants to relive a little bit of his somewhat shady past. Their stopover at a brothel in Las Vegas is one of the highlights, and Lauren Bacall made a charming Madam. Nowadays you never know how something will end, but this one ended exactly right. Good movie check it out.

This was a sleeper film worth checking out. Kirk Douglas was amazingly funny and Dan Ackroyd was the straight man. I got it for my dad and he and my mom loved it.
