Dexter

Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is a blood splatter expert for the Miami P.D., and a serial killer. He is forever traumatized when his mother was killed in his presence. He is rescue by police officer Harry Morgan (James Remar) who adopted him. When he showed signs of psychopathy, Harry teaches him a system whereby he would investigate and kill only criminals. He is close to his sister police Detective Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) but she doesn't know his secret.

Dexter is my favorite serial killer good guy. Come to think of it, I don't know if there are too many other serial killer good guys. I love his matter of factness, his inability to connect emotionally, and even his inner voice monologue. The first few seasons are beyond anything before it. After awhile, it does get tiring to have people constantly just miss Dexter. But the love for Dexter never dies.... at least it never gets wrap in cellophane, cut up into pieces, put into garbage bags, and dumped into the harbor.Lire l'avis complet...

Dexter is Great and Clever Entertainment

We watched seasons 1 to 7 of Dexter by streaming while in the U.S. but we couldn't watch the final season when we got back home to Canada...it wasn't available in Canada. We bought this DVD and it is fine...we get to see the final season and it is as exciting as the others.
Dexter is clever and is entertaining to watch. Normally we don't watch violent shows, but we have to make exceptions when the story line is this good. The story wouldn't make sense without the violence, so we watch the show...it isn't violence for the sake of violence, it is necessary to make the plot make sense.

Great dvd. Gotta great price for it. Worth seeing.

For anyone who's a fan of Dexter and you haven't seen the last season, it is a must. I ordered it because it's my favorite show. I have seen the whole series since having ordered this season. It was best show Shotime has ever ran. I won't spoil it for anyone but the dynamic between Dexter and Deb did a 360. Some unexpected things happen, of course. There's not anything I didn't like about it. But I have yet to watch the last episode basically because I don't want it to end. Someone from Dexter's past will return, but I won't say who. I wasn't that thrilled about it because I don't personally care for the person, but others might. Overall this is a fantastic show and i'm extremely sad to see it go.Lire l'avis complet...

Dexter Final Season

Since I watched all seasons three years after the last one aired, I had to play catch up. I was saddened to see the ending of Season 8 with Dexter all alone. I guess it was difficult to see so much devastation at the end of the episode/series. Life is not always the storybook ending that we frequently imagine.
