Detectorists - Best series I’ve ever watched! Can you be in love with a TV series???
I never buy videos but I have watched “Detectorists” 3 times streaming and finding that the series was reasonably priced I just had to buy it. It is the most deliciously charming, original, quirky series I’ve ever seen. Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook’s chemistry is brilliant, and finding out that Crook wrote, directed AND co-starred in the series blew my mind. He is amazing! Enough said?!Lire l'avis complet...

Surprisiingly distinctive, singular comedy series
The series is not only engaging by way of the cast of humourous, warm and humane characters with whom one develops a sense of sympathy, if not out right identification(s), but the singular context, set in beautifully cinemagraphed(?) surrounds of the contemporary rural & suburban Danelaw, draws one in fully.
