Calling all Monsters...Let's get ready to rumble!!!

I purchased this Blu-ray about a month ago and this particular version was released by Media Blasters in 2011 and sadly is no longer in print. So Godzilla aficionado's far and wide will probably want to collect this one since it is out of print. This is a remastered version of "Destroy All Monsters" with special features included such as a commentary by Godzilla scholars Steve Ryfle and Ed Godziszewski and some image galleries and original trailers. This film is presented in Toho's widescreen aspect ratio (Tohoscope) of 2.35:1. The picture quality is decent for a film of this age remastered to blu-ray format. The audio quality is presented in both English DTS-HD 2.0 and Japanese DTS-HD 2.0 with subtitles. The special features are presented in their original aspect ratios and standard definitions, so don't expect them to look great, but they have English DTS-HD 2.0 audio tracks with them. All in all this is a pretty solid release of this timeless Godzilla film from the 60's. Definitely a must have for any serious Godzilla fan and collector!Lire l'avis complet...
