A fun classic with a few rough edges

Destroy All humans 2 (DAH2) is a decently fun time packed with a lot of humor that still makes me chuckle even playing it now. Being able to travel around the world and wreak havoc has never been as fun. That being said I would be lying if I said the graphics aren't the greatest. For the PlayStation 2 they're decent, compared to modern systems now they are pretty bad and blocky (very excited about the remake coming out). In addition to this the London level is shrouded in fog and it makes it a little depressing at times to play in. Despite those cons it's still a pretty great game. As far as the disks quality it is good works as intended not hickups.Lire l'avis complet...

Destroy All Humans! 2. A must Have!!!

If you've played Destroy All Humans and enjoyed the game then get Destroy All Humans 2. I really enjoyed playing the game. Crypto is back to save the world (kind of ironic when the game is called "Destroy All Humans"). The gameplay is just the same as the first, but a little different, the weapons are the same, but there is a couple of new ones, you have the same jetpack, but it flys a little differently but it's still real fun just to run around destroying all humans. In this story, after Krypto took over most of America in the end of number one, the Mother Ship is completely destroyed and leaves Krypto by himself one Earth with only a hologram of Pox since Pox also blew up in the explosion. You start the quest searching for what is left of your Mother Ship in the 60s, and surrounded by hippies! Instead of upgrading on the Mother Ship, you upgrade by talking to Pox's hallagram, and instead of paying with DNA, you pay with FuronTechCells that you find through out the levels, (America, England, China...) It is just like the GTA series where it is free roaming and you can do side jobs between missions. Where the first game spoofed '50s sci-fi, this game spoofs the spy movies (most notably the James Bond franchise). The thing I liked about the first game was all the funny stuff the people and Crypto spouted off. This game does not skimp on that! There are some hilarious things that are spoken and thought and it looked as if the creators were having fun making the game! It is very true to the original game. Most of the mission are pretty easy. I was also surprised how easy the final mission was once I came up with the solution (Mind Flash). There were a couple of bugs I noted. people disappearing and bad distance loading but it doesn't detract from the game. One thing disappointed me, you get nothing for totaly completing the game (the first game had a really cool reward when completed). This game is fun and just plain funny! If you have a sense of humor, you'll enjoy this game. If you have the time, definitely read the minds of a few people (especially the Japanese school girls!) and try the extra options during the missions.

Good luck and Good Gaming!

Better then the first, but not by alot...

If you've played Destroy All Humans one, then theres not a whole lot to expect from this sequel. The gameplay is just the same as the first, but slightly different, the weapons are the same, but there is a couple of new ones (one being REALLY cool), you have the same jetpack, but it flys differently. If you get what I'm saying, not alot changed, but it's still real fun just to run around destroying all humans. Instead of upgrading on the Mother Ship, you upgrade by talking to Pox's hallagram, and instead of paying with DNA, you pay with FuronTechCells that you find through out the levels, (America, England, China...) Under the skin, this is another really fun game, but it failed to keep me as hooked as the first, probably because its so simular to the original. Although, if you did enjoy the first game, I recomend this very highly!Lire l'avis complet...

Good Choice for Grandmas

I know NOTHING about games. I'm a grandma and I bought it for my 10 year old grandson. He loves it, but I don't know anything about gaming other than how to hook them up to the TV. So grandmas feel free to buy this one. Also, it has a lot of good cheats, which my grandson gets after playing the game for 5 days. The language sounds a little rough, but the kids these days don't think anything about it and don't use it either.Lire l'avis complet...

This is one of the best games ever! You'll love it if you liked the first!

This game is awesome! I bought the first game of the series 2 weeks ago, and because that was very good, I knew this one would! You play as Cryptosporidium-137, and your main objective is to pick up all of the pieces of your mothership that was destroyed by the Russian KGB. It is dated in 1969, and a great addition to the game after Destroy All Humans! 1, is that you can free roam and just have fun causing havoc whenever you want a break from the missions! Also, you have a much larger selection of weapons, and upgrades for them. What I always think is cool, is how you can abduct people off the streets and combine their genes to make your own upgrades! The weapons are new and awesome, and they made a longer storyline and a more fun experience during gameplay. Overall, this game is amazing, and is going to give you countless hours of fun! 5 stars!Lire l'avis complet...

Rated "T" for a reason

My son loves this game, but I was compelled to take it away from him because of the foul language, drug references, and "anal probing". My boy is only 10 and when he is of a more appropriate age I will likely give it back to him. Yes, I understand it is rated T, but I still think it's a shame that they take an otherwise really cool game and add the foul language to make this game inapropriate for younger players like my kid... still I know it is rated for teens and I shoulda known better.Lire l'avis complet...

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Playstation 2 game

According to my 9 year old son, this is an excellent game. I am not much of a gamer myself, but after watching this, I think I understand the attraction. It is lively and challenging and the graphics are good. I think that the gore is minimalized just perfectly so that my son feels like he has done some damage, but he isn't getting the real life drama and effect of some of the Mature games.
I recommend this to any mom out there who might be questioning the T rating for their younger children. My first grader is still too young for this one, but it's about right for the older elementary and early middle school crowd.
My son still plays it after having msstered it, which is not something I can say for all of his games. So in my book, it's a good buy.

Resurfaced game worried me, but it is great!

My little boy wanted this game and this was the only option I could afford. I was very worried about he 'resurfaced' aspect, but gave it a shot. The game arrived without delay and plays perfectly! It was a great deal and we are very happy.Lire l'avis complet...

Fun & Humorous

Fun and humorous game to promote stress relief and entertainment. This is not by any means a hard core first person shooter game and the graphics are less than stellar, but it is just plain funny and fun. A good game for when you're feeling brain dead, don't want to concentrate much, and just generally feel like releasing simulated mayhem on human kind.Lire l'avis complet...
