work fabulous for my needs

I really love this Projector. I actually own 4 of them. for what you may ask? I use them for rear screen projevtion for my Yard Haunt at Halloween time. They work great easy to use and set up and are bright enough for my needs. Only draw back if there is a problem they really are not fixable to return them to Dell cost $250 wheter they are fixed or not. It's cheaper just to buy a new one. My Dell M109S DLP Projector

This is quite an amazing little device. For a projector it is quite a reasonable price and looks good for the size it is. First off, this projector is for either a business person who travels and gives presentations in a conference room or a home projector that is looking for a good deal on a cheap projector. This projector is build for portability, not quality resolution or large flexibility.

Small Projector But Picture Not Good

Cons
50 Lumens? 50?? To put that in perspective, a typical LCD projector is 1500 lumens and big ones are 2500+. Of course those are pushing a much larger image as well. But even at computer monitor size - 50 Lumens is a flashlight - this thing barely shows a 3' diagaonal image in a room with _any_ ambient light. You will literally have to do your presentation in the dark.

Review
All of the pocket projectors on the market are barely bright enough to use - the Dell is no worse than the othere, unfortunately it's no better. There must be a technical limitation in the LCD lamps at this size or the heat dissipation or something that's preventing them from making a brighter unit. For the same price, unless you're flying, it's not much more hassle to hassle to carry an actual LCD monitor to turn toward a small room.Lire l'avis complet...

Great value for money!!

This projector is absolutely great value for your money. It fits in your hand, yet it can project images with great quality. It's great for presentations on the go, or simply a cheap 60 inch screen in your living room.
The only thing I would add to it is a remote control. But if it came with a remote, audio input/output, and a TV tuner it would cost twice as much.Lire l'avis complet...

Great portability, low brightness!

This unit is extremely portable, fits easily into my briefcase. Would be nice if the case would also fit the power adapter, you have to carry them separately. Not very bright, must turn the lights out to get average projection. I teach computer software classes. I use the unit as a backup when all office projectors are unavailable. Dell M109S DLP Projector

Folks who said this projector has good picture quality had me wondering if i got the wrong one trust me the only thing nice about this projector is the size and sleek design nothing else if you are in a very dark room and i mean pitch black then you will be lucky to get a 20 inch screen other wise the picture quality is very poor and as someone said 50 lumens is way far from 2000 i personally dont think the portability is worth it this should be selling for 100 dollars then probably it would be value for moneyLire l'avis complet...

Two weeks?

I really didnt like how long it took for the projector to make it to me(two weeks). However it works runs and looks great. Perfect size for a small room, works great with movies and video games.
