Terruific natural sound, stereo effect, depth of music

I didn't need a great amount of power because this unit is designed for a computer. The sound is spectacular. The bass is not heavy but enough to make orchestral and other music sound natural. The stereo effect of this system is amazing. I listened to some of my recorded music of The Dukes of Dixieland and the instruments were pleasingly very distinct from each speaker. Dell speakers with sub woofer.

These speakers were a direct replacement of my Dell speaters and really kick well with a new sound card I also installed. Just what I wanted for my older model dell pc.

Great sound - affordable speakers.

These are really great speakers.
At my work, I am fortunate to have the older model of these speakers which led me to want them for my home.
Fortunately I found out that the newer model, Dell A525 speakers were available, and since my computer at home is silver it was a great match aesthetically!

The sound is simply unbelievable for speakers well under $50+ (I paid close to $25 = amazing).
The clarity is good, as is the volume, but the biggest surprise is the bass (sub-woofer) box. At 30-50% it is already providing full and clear bass. I have not had any need to turn it past 50% (on the top dial) and listen to all types of music and video on it.

Since I'm also involved in sound recording and editing for my church, bringing the recordings home and working on it with these speakers has made a great difference in how everything sounds and it's helped make great improvements to our recording edits.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SPEAKERS for home or work or anything in-between.

Despite not being a "Dell" guy at home, the speakers are really top notch and the price can not be beat.

Excellent sound and value in a small package.

Don't let the small size of the Dell A525 speakers fool you, they put out some serious sound. Let's not fool ourselves, you're not going to get world class sound out of these, but for the price, great performance. I have these speakers at work, at home and now in my garage, 3 sets and love them. These are not just computer speakers - in my garage, I hook my cell phone up to it and crank Pandora. I've had the set in my house for 6 years now and they still work great. Good bass and well balanced sound. Like BOSE engineered speakers. OUTSTANDING!!!!

I've had about 10 pairs of computer speakers since I've started to use a pc since the late 80's. And these speakers never fail to astound me. I don't take for granted their big sound ever. Being that I have a background in audio visuals as a professional it is even more so that I never fail to recognize every day that I've used these they are beyond compare. Siimply put state-of- the-art performance. Add to that; I play guitar and sometimes I even used them to jam ... they have that much volume and frequency range that I've been able to mix the music coming out of this system with my small guitar amp. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has an professional audio background as well as the non-professionl. The only draw back of these speakers is that the two small speaker are too light weight and have a tendency to fall over easily. Especially the one speaker with the volume control. So I recommend velcro on the bottoms and attaching them to whatever surface you use them on. Its either that or double stick tape. Great System

This is by far the best factory system I've used yet. The overall quality is top notch. The speakers are decent by themselves, but when you kick in the subwoofer it takes it way beyond anything two speakers alone can do.

Wonderful bss loaded sound

This unit is easy to assemble by hooking up one line to the speaker out on the computer and the special plug in the back of the subwoofer. Volume controls convieneetly located on the top of the right satellite speaker. Has great sounding bass and crisp high notes as well.Lire l'avis complet...

My Computer is my Home Stereo

I've decided not to use my home stereo anymore. These speakers do the trick. We listen to alot of music at home. Sometimes CD's thru the computer and alot of internet radio (Pandora). We crank up the tiny speakers and surprisingly, they provide a great, rich sound with no distortion. From bass to high pitch sounds, a clear, resonant sound soars throughout the room and into my kitchen! This is my second set...i had original ones purchased through Dell and they were knocked over many times by my little ones and our kitten chewed thru the a couple of wires...i guess we could have gotten the wires fixed but the price for a new set of Dell A525 speakers/subwoofer was so cheap on ebay, so we just bought a new set.
