Charger for Dewalt 18v batteries. LED indicator worthless.
The unit seems to charge OK. However the Green LED indicator is worthless. Indicators in instruction manual are:
Unit on (no battery inserted) - Solid Green
Battery too hot - Solid Green
Battery defective - Solid Green
Battery fully charged - Solid Green
Battery charging - Flashing Green

This has saved our tools....
We own a ranch and it seems that one of our day workers felt that he needed our previous charger more than we did. Problem is, that was our only charger and once our battery packs ran out, we were no longer able to use our tools. So I immediately looked on here and found what we needed.
This is now bolted to the wall and now we have a security camera in our tool room.
This charger has literally saved us a major round of frustration and headaches. We are able to charge all of our battery packs again and the tools are once again working on the ranch as they should be. Delightful DeWalt Tool
It's a Dewalt, what else is there to say, other than it works like a champ and with a Dewalt 9.0ah 20V Flex battery it will cut for a long time. I've already trimmed quite a few trees with it, it cuts like butter and I have yet to charge the battery. Well worth the spend!!Lire l'avis complet...

Would give it 5 stars but...
there are 2 problems. 1st, it no longer will stand on it's own. The battery adapter offsets the battery back a couple of inches back. Feels a little more ergonomic... 2nd is more important. The adapter does not lock into the tool until after thedewalt battery is locked in . The DeWalt battery and the adapter slide on the same way. So if you're not careful, when you push your battery onto lock, the battery and adapter will slide right off and fall onto the ground.
Afterit is all locked it works fine. I super glued a couple of small spots on the adapter to permanently lock the adapter on. All in all I love having my snap on 1/2 gun back. Without paying a rediculous price for batteries.Lire l'avis complet...

great buy to replace the high price of dewalts nicad battery
so far so good. you need to get the charger for the battery too since its a NiMH and not a nicad battery, to properly charge them. happy I got them

You got to have one of these chargers for the new style batteries. It works good,keeps my batteries up for my drill and impact.
