Outstanding product. Next stop is the next model up 2500w. Dayton great job.

I build custom subwoofers and upgrade factory ones. 50+ yrs experience. I bought a SPA1000 about 5 yrs ago. Paired it with (4) 12" Audiobahn Subs at a 4 ohm load in (2) Dual 12" Slot Load Labyrinth enclosures. Did a back to back comparison with a $1800. Hums and has no output right out of the box but I fixed it.

It had a serious hum when I plugged it in. I tore the ground lug off the power cord, hum stopped. Sell it with an ungrounded power cord then people won't complain about the hum.

Good amp but falls short of 1000 watts output

Knocking a star off because these don't put out 1000 watts. Williston Audio dynoed it and it puts out 877 watts against 4ohms @<1% THD, still pretty good, pretty efficient but it falls well short of the claimed 1000 watts.Lire l'avis complet...
