Moody Blues "Days of Future Passed" dts CD

This was my first dts CD experience and boy I can't wait to check out more. I wondered when I bought it how they managed to encode 5.1 discrete channels of sound, and I assumed at least a bit depth of 20, and possibly a 48 kHz sampling rate. It plays on my system at a mind boggling 1.4 Mbps bit rate. The fidelity would stand up to DVD audio MLP tracks. The surround mix is one of the finest I've ever heard; if you enjoy music in surround sound and are any type of audiophile, you must add this to your collection!!

I also have this one as a cd and as a LP, but this format is great.You can easily understand the different instruments participating in this timeless masterpiece via each speaker/channel.Some pieces like it must be in every audiophile collection because it is of similar quality like the other famous (e.g. Eagles-Hotel California). Ok it is not advanced resolution (pure dvd-audio) but it is DTS meaning that is better than DD 5.1. You can feel your heart rumbling..Lire l'avis complet...

This is my all time favorite album. If you listen to it in it darkness of night, you can hear and feel your heart beat. The pureness of the voices and clarity of this music will forever imprint upon your soul.
