An amazingly done Action-Role Playing Game everyone should play.

A sequel to 2010 Darksiders by Vigil Games, is an Action-Hack & Slash video-game with RPG elements. The game-play mechanics are heavily inspired by games series like Legend Of Zelda, Prince Of Persia, Devil May Cry and Portal, the game combines elements of all these series, it doesn't innovate any of the mechanics but instead executes them almost perfectly. Aside from some minor glitches and complex puzzles the game wasn't frustrating.

The combat is fast with different combos, upgrades, weapons and tools to use. Exploring the different worlds is fun and rewarding with many side-quests and collectibles.

The soundtrack by Jesper Kyd is excellent and memorable it really adds a lot to the immersion of the game combined with a variety of detailed environments and animations.

These amount of content in this game really makes any purchase worth it.Lire l'avis complet...

One of the best Action RPG's I've played

The Good: Great boss fights, Huge world, Much more RPG elements than the original, Very long campaign by today's standards, Outstanding voice acting, Strong action oriented combat system, Overall graphics were good, and decent/good puzzles.

The Bad: This didn't happen often, but sometimes I would have problems getting the game to accurately recognize my button press during a corner wall jump. when playing on "Normal" difficulty many of the standard enemies present a very limited challenge. Some areas could have used a larger enemy population as well.

Something to think about: This game sets up a sequel intended for release within the next two years, but THQ went bankrupt, and have yet to find a buyer for this series, which means Darksiders 2 might well have been the last game in the series.Lire l'avis complet...

one of the best for 2012 for sure.

if you loved darksiders your in for a treat. this lives up to the 1st game and more with way more open worlds and more side quests and upgrades that really bring out deaths bad assness that he is. the whole fetching this and fetching that can get a bit old and tedious but the game makes you want to actually partake in finding all the items you need. theres a whole slew of weapons to choose from and button controls are easy to master. I have heard other people say how quick they beat this game but i do all side quests and I myself have had it since end of December and still have not beaten it yet and for the cheap price you can get this game now, I highly recommend you give it a try! Darksiders 2. If you like puzzels this game is for you.

This game is challenging from the start. Even on the easy setting it will make you do some deep thinking and trials. The crow helps a bit but mostly it makes you use your brain.

Puzzle, huge maps, very fun

This game was simply amazing. 2 min into playing this game i felt like i was playing a combination for Legend of Zelda and prince of Persia. i love the puzzle solving aspect of the game and character leveling and weapon development. The skill tree made it even more fun with the fact you could summon monsters to fight along side you. every single fight was very flashy and very high movement based. outside of ever temple was very huge maps to walk around and explorer.Lire l'avis complet...

Difficult for novice gamer, short on storyline, but entertained for a while

I am not the best gamer, so some of the boss fights were very difficult for me. It had alot of jumping and climbing that I had a hard time catching on with, due to not being the most dextrous individual alive. It was mostly a fighting game with some conversation, and minimal plot. It entertained me for a while, but I ended up stopping before the end because a boss fight was too frustrating. If you are better at games than I and don't mind a minimalist approach to storyline, you may like this game better than I. I've played games like Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age trilogy, The Witcher, and this game is not even close to the same level as these games. Buy it for amusement, but don't expect the experience of the other games or that the lowest difficulty setting will make it easier for a novice gamer.Lire l'avis complet...

Not perfect, but enjoyable!

It's not as straightforward as the first game and adds in some interesting RPG style elements. Where Darksiders was more linear with a few bits of exploration sprinkled in, Darksiders II takes that further and with more customization options. The combat feels a bit faster and more fluid since Death is more nimble than his brother War. Overall, it's not perfect, but nevertheless and enjoyable game.Lire l'avis complet...
