DJI Osmo is a good solution
The DJI Osmo was a good solution for me, when ever I tried to take photos with my phone the images were shaky and out of focus. If you don't care for 4K images the Osmo Mobile is a great option, but for a few dollars more you can upgrade to 4K quality photographs. Osmo is packed full of options and if you take to the to learn how to use it, it will become of of your favorite go to devices. Niche tool for professional videography
This is a fantastic imaging device. It records full 12 bit raw video at 4k, and can simultaneously record h.264 Mov files. There is plenty of dynamic range about 13 stops.
It is however not a replacement for a proper camera. Here are things you need to know before purchasing.
1. You will need a wired video adaptor before you even think of using this as a professional tool. The wireless connection is just too dicey.
2. Internal fans are loud... really loud. If you plan on recording nice clean audio on set, don't mess with this thing. Now if you are recording in a noisy environment anyway, you may be okay. If you are shooting anywhere someone yells "quiet on set" before shooting... forget it.
3. You need ALL the accessories to make this worth your while. Especially batteries. You can get by without the focus wheel, but not for long.
4. If you plan on shooting real estate, you will need a wide angle lens. There are not many fast wide angle lens options for this thing. The ones that exist are not cheap. Plan to spend 500 bucks or so on a decent one.
Over all, I love mine. It is used exclusively to get dynamic, moving B-roll shots. While it is loud, it is also small, so you can shoot in places where another stabilization option just wouldn't make sense. As long as you have a specific need for THIS device grab it. Fast Efficient delivery of a great product.
Ordered this product over July 4th weekend and got it on the 8th. Had a job on the 9th and it came in very handy. Product was as advertised... I did think the camera bag would be a lot bigger as it is small and not medium. Everything else was on point and the camera has been awesome. Wished I had this years ago!
Great steady video ! Learning curve to get hooked to the phone for it jumping to other nearby WiFi (phone). Took a couple weeks to figure out I could aim the gimbal remotely so using it on a clamp more often then handheld. Image quality is great on the big TV at 1080p . Great camera. awesome videos. Internal mic is a bit lacking but there is always a fix with an external mic.
Great camera, solid construction, easy set up with or without a cell phone for excellent videos and still shots.
Selfie mode is a fun factory for the family as well as the convenience and weight in carrying the equipment around.
Sound quality of the stock internal mic is horrible, known issue due to the loud fan. Though a small mic sold by DJi or a Rode mic are a worthy upgrade to eliminate any sound issues.

DJI Osmo Handheld 4K Camera & 3 Axis Gimbal
I purchased this for my son at Christmas. It is an amazingly good camera and he enjoys it very much. There is only 1 issue with the camera and that is the charger. It was poorly engineered and the pins will bend or break, as they did the first time my son used it.
