Powerful, compact guns
Compared to the previous version Dewalt offered, this Atomic series packs a punch. My coworker was skeptical on its power, having used primarily air powered tools, he asked to borrow it for a task. Small and powerful!
Packs a lot of power for its size. Takes off lug nuts easily, that was my test run, only time will tell how it holds up under heavy use.

DEWALT LITTLE MONSTER BUMBLE BEE !
I am tired of air hoses. I bought this Dewalt battery powered half inch impact to replace my air one. It out performs my air impact and does an outstanding job for what it is. Do not let the small size fool you, this little Dewalt battery powered impact wrench kicks butt! I have all 20 volt Dewalt battery powered tools just to keep my life simple and easier. Dewalt makes quality tools for the worken mans or womans budget, just that simple! Also, all my buddies that are pro mechanics and do it for ah liven have Dewalt battery powered tools here in the sticks of northern Wisconsin. Need I say any more? OOO-RAH ! GET SOME ! Great Impact Wrench.....worth the money
This tool works great. I do auto work and it removes every bolt and nut I have tried. I do not believe the torque ratings claimed by DeWalt but there is enough to be a very good impact wrench. It is small enough to get into tight places. I am very happy with this purchase. Lire l'avis complet

Powerful and light weight
Can’t really think of anything wrong with this tool. Bought it to carry in my RV to remove lug nuts and I found that it does this chore with ease. The settings can be a little confusing but there aren’t that many so I change them until it works well.

Powerful punch in a small package.
Perfect for the the jobs your 1/4" impact driver can't handle. The multiple settings and modes are a very nice touch. Typical excellent DeWALT quality.

Love it, but would change one thing.
Instead of have 4 impact modes, I would have left the 899 3 position slide selector and removed the light button all together. Here is my opinion on just removing and installing a lug nut.
Machine Screw setting - Removes hard and when the nut becomes loose, it gently removes the nut. When installing it stops impacting when it hits torque then re-hammers hard.
Lag Bolt setting - Removes hard and hits hard.
1 setting - Removes hard and impacts softly to somewhere around 90 ft lbs.
2 setting - Removes hard and hits hard, seems like it is the same as the Lag Bolt setting.
I tend to leave it set on 1 setting.
