Well bit saw

The DCS380 is well constructed and the 4-way blade positioning ability is a plus when sawing in close quarters. With a 6 TPI (teeth per inch) blade this saw is used around the property trimming wooden garden plants when needed, the variable speed trigger making this work easier. The only drawback I've seen so far is that the saw is somewhat heavy in the front end, but if this is necessary to build a stout product, so be it. Works good for two weeks. Was satisfied with purchase. After that both batteries stop working. Doesn’t hold power. Basically was waist of money.

1ST TIME I PUT THE BATTERY INTO THE CHARGER THE RED LIGHT TURNED ON BUT IT WASN'T BLINKING
THOUGHT THIS WAS STRANGE --REMOVED THE BATTERY AND REINSERTED IT INTO THE CHARGER BUT THIS TIME I HELD DOWN THE RED RELEASE WHILE PUTTING IT IN---SUCCESS---

Powerful and good quality-keeps it’s charge. I’ve used DeWalt products for years and use them on a daily basis and I only have to buy replacement batteries every few years.

Works Great With 18 Volt Adaptor

Been using battery along with adaptor for my 15 year old Dewalt 18 volt drill/driver.I was down to one battery and that is only giving maybe a couple hours.Still love my Dewalt.This 4 Amp has probably gone about 4 full hours after one charge no end in sight and still more power than my original Ni-cads. The lithium -Ion is definitely the way to go! I wouldn't give up the 18 Volt tools though I have multiple so these batteries along with a $10.00 adaptor is terrific! Way To Go!
