Deeper than you might think

I saw this movie the first time thinking that it would be a darkly humorous flick. The satire's there, so's the wit. But Critical Care is as much about the right to a dignified natural death as it is satirizing the hospital system. Great satire of the current state of medical ethics.

I love this movie! I have a frequently watched VHS copy but wanted it on DVD. Spader is brilliant as the stressed out Medical Resident trying to care for a patient on life support while balancing what is right for the patient vs family interests and medical insurance. And don't forget that pesky malpractice. As a fan who's in the business I find this movie very thought provoking and scary and not all that far from what we see in real life.Lire l'avis complet...
