Weather related
I live in the Chicago area and the main reason I purchased this was to be able to start my car on cold days. Today marked the first day of sub below weather here. The remote start did not work nor did the door lock fortunately the original key fob that came with the vehicle did work I was able to enter and start my vehicle with no problem. What was really alarming was that recently I was in Minnesota where conditions were probably worse than the today's conditions and the remote did work. This is why I purchased this system for days such as this. But I guess it's my fault because as I looked at the owners manual it says that there may be an issue in these type of conditions if I had read that or saw that on the site before ordering I would have looked for another type of starter. The viper remote that I had on a previous car did not have this issue so I made the assumption that remote starts wood not have rather related issues. Also the controller seems to be in need of charging more than what I expected but I have a routine with that so that's not a major issue. So overall I would recommend it but for some like me the caveat of it not working in the coldest of conditions is a great concern.Lire l'avis complet...

Good remote starter
Love the remote starter with all its features but disappointed in its range once you go into buildings. Expect only a couple hundred feet once you are in a building
