Plug and Play with Linux

Even though this model is pretty old, can still get drivers from ATI for Windows operating systems. For Linux it is plug and play, although you won't get all the features, it is still like getting a bigger amp! Much better music quality, and also much more volume!
Note: I did wreck one when I plugged in a powered speaker into the wrong port on the card. Ooops.
Make sure speakers are turned off when plugging in or removing. In fact, I try to remember to always turn off the speakers before shutting down the operating system/computer. Only failure over 10 years or so.

Good for pc speaker system including woofer

Great sound for the money. It worked on my HP a6120n!

I would have given this 4-stars due to some of the capacitors being bent, BUT the fact that it brought back sounds on my old Vista computer made me pour out another extra star from my eyes! This card does what I want it to do! Nothing more and nothing less.
