Shows his creativity

JT doesn't just "parrot" songs he covers - he re-invents them. Would you ever believe he could take "Get A Job" and just totally ignore the original, and blow your mind with his interpretation? Well, he sure did!! And the Memphis, TN, cover is also brilliant. Every cut is full of re-invention. Great album - as is "More Covers".Lire l'avis complet...

It is comforting that after 40 years (or more) James Taylor can still make my heart jump. His voice is a true constant. This eclectic collection runs the gambit from R&B to Country. His rendition of Suzanne is great. He still looks as good as he sounds.Lire l'avis complet...

What a CD!! I think it is a perfect CD for all occasions. I am 57 years old, JT has still got it. I reccomend it for all ages--------MHG

Classical James

I love my new James Taylor Covers CD. It is great to hear other OLD FAVORITES done the JT way. He really is a hero of mine so it made it a MUST BUY CD! Then I actually listened to the tunes and went back to the 70's and 80's in mind again. He and the band really did a wonderful job on these old classics.

Always a Class Act

I'm a child of the 60's and although I love a lot of today's music,(Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, Ben Taylor, John Mayer, Shelby Lynne etc...) I still think James Taylor is a class act. He has taken some oldie but goodies and put his own spin on them. I love it!Lire l'avis complet...
