more for younger players - though lots to do

POSITIVES: The food being prepared looks so real. There is so much to open and achieve in this games you can get hours and hours of playtime out of it. Mama tries to encourage you in every way. They have very creative ways of interactive play with different steps of cooking.
NEGATIVES: There is no LEFT/RIGHT hand option. I'm left-handed and some of the dials required to read and follow during gameplay are hidden by my hand. Some of the cooking instructions are not very clear. The game feels like it's primarily for a very young audience. Mama uses the same sayings over and over. PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK

I purchase item 170819700054 Mama 4 Kitchen Magic (Nintendo 3DS 2011) I actually received the item on the 18/7/12. I did not open the item until today which is my daughter's birthday. When I entered the diac in to the Nintendo it says "There is nothing inserted into the Game Card Slot. It is definitely inserted correctly, but is not working. Please could you inform me how to go about getting another one or a refund. It is my daughter's birthday today and I saved it till today and she is very disappointed. I await to hear from you. The game is so cute and so much fun, I was testing it to make sure it works for my 8 yr old daughter and I ended playing it for a while:-)

This game is a great edition to the Cooking Mama series. Much better graphics then last three games. Also, it's easier to control. The movements work right when you do them. The new 3D feature gives this cooking mama game a fun twist. You get to tilt the device to chop vegetables. Also, the 3D feature makes it hilarious to mess up! It's a very fun game centered around cooking mini games.

Not many new features since the last Cooking Mama DS release but there is a new Help Them mode which has non-cooking related mini games.
