Fushigi? We don't need any stinking Fu....

Alright, this book is a great resource for the serious contact juggler. That could be the entire review, but heck, let's expound!

Clear illustrations, accurate descriptions and helpful hints all make this book practical and useful. The comb binding allows it to sit open for ongoing reference during practice. If you follow the instructions, and practice, practice, practice, you will be able to contact juggle. (Contact juggling ball not included. Bring your own.)

Several other ideas are included which springboard you into your own tricks and handlings. That's nice.

Some jugglers complain occasionally that Ernest didn't have the right to publish this material because it was developed by another juggler, the creative M.M. Valid point, and while M.M. was the original creator and inspiration, no one else was writing the ideas down for the community to improve and expand upon.

There are several contact juggling DVDs available these days, and Youtube has a fair number of tutorials, but this book still has value. Especially when you consider that the best contact juggling experiences are out in nature where electricity is either unavailable or intrusive. Take the book, grab your juggling equipment, and go stake out a picnic table at a state park. It's a great way to spend a day.
