Color Works by Deb Menz

If you are in textiles or work with fiber of any kind this is a great reference book. I spin wool and starting to do color blending of fibers for spinning. The color wheel with overlays and the color charts at the end of the book are excellent tools in playing with color and finding what colors you want. The color wheel and charts do not cover the whole color spectrum but it gives you a good idea in blending colors. Deb is very knowledgeable and explains well techniques of color blending and the many possiblities that can be reached through color blending. Her video is also excellent.

The clear charts and colors inspire

I m color crazy, I use almost anything in my quilting. This book fully explains color interaction. I enjoyed seeing why I love some colors together as not so excited about others in quilting I feel you do need to throw some unfriendly color to make a quilt sparkle. This book is spiral bound which is necessary for a book you usea lot. The illustrations are helpful with pure colors that is a good source of inspiration.Lire l'avis complet...

This book is necessary for me because I am interested in textile work. I really like the additional tools that are in this book. Use them to easily choose color combinations.

COLOR WORKS works

Lots of good info and illustrations. I use it as a print back-up to a DVD about color which I recently purchased.
