Awsome product! Great value for the money! A handy guide for Collectors!

Excellent for the beginning collector or anyone as it has pictures of the back marks, with dates. There's a list in the back of the well known Limoges factories and decorating studios with information about each one.

It gives an interesting history of how the industry started in and near Limoges, France. It explains what key attributes to look for to identify and categorize items.

Many gorgeous photos which are all numbered and keyed to a price list, which although from 1996, still gives an idea of the book value. The interesting thing is that you will see so many of these very items, or quite similar ones available for sale on Ebay.

It shows the different markings on the bottom of the various items which help to date the approximate age of the pieces. Collectors Encyclopedia of limoges Porcelain

I like the Author, the pictures, and that it is hard cover. I decided to buy it because I collect Limoges and wanted to read up on it.

The book does not have any prices in it, ;(

I bought it because I bought an old piece at an estate sale and I wanted to see what it was and what it was worth. I couldn't find the piece and they don't give what they are worth. Too bad, but it is still a very nice book that I will probably put back on ebay!Lire l'avis complet...
